Jewelry during COVID19

“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and will be lost.”
― Martha Graham

I believe creating jewelry to be a reflection of spirit, a craving of curiosity and a never ending need to a learn a new skill or conceive a new design idea.  It is also emotional for me as I work to finish something that is the epitome of femininity, all the while envisioning the person who will buy and wear my design as they embrace it as their own.

With March 2020 and the changes brought on by COVID19, my ability to participate in art shows has diminished. A virtual show just doesn’t cut it.  So, for now, and while we wait for social and economic improvements, new pieces are taking longer to complete and that’s okay. However, I am still taking in repairs.

Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed Martha Graham’s quote above!
